''Ijevan'' Historical-Geographical Museum

Ijevan Historical-Geographical Museum is located in the southern part of Ijevan, on the right side of the Ijevan-Yerevan highway, next to the Botanical Garden. The area of the museum is small - 75 square meters. Despite all the inconveniences due to the location, nevertheless, the exhibits in the museum are distributed by sections:

• Information Department – Various informational materials from the օregion are presented here.
• Tavush Nature Department – consists of several subsections, in which various exhibits related to this section are presented.
• Archaeology Department – The most valuable exhibits here are three items from the Stone Age: a scraper and a stone stupa. Completing the series of exhibits are spearheads, armor clasps, obsidian arrows, swords, daggers, etc., found in the tombs.
• Regional Historical Monuments Department – The photo shows a map of the region with images of historical monuments.
• Department of Carpet Weaving, Canvas Creation – The various instruments and working tools are represented.
• Department of Ethnography – he museum's largest section, featuring everything from medieval everyday objects to 20th-century farm implements. This section shows a radio presented by Stalin to one of the tankers who first entered Berlin during the Patriotic War. A special place is given to veteran of the Great Patriotic War Melik Ordanyan. In a separate corner of the museum are the exhibits and photos from the life and activities of "Sevkaretzi" Sako. A separate section also includes photos of more than 180 celebrities of the region with relevant comments. Photos of the heroes of the Artsakh war region and information about them are presented. There is a small library in the museum hall, where books by writers from the region are presented.

Admission to the museum is free.
