Various comedy games have been an integral part of the life of the Armenian people since time immemorial. In the Middle Ages, games were called theatrical and circus performances. Some songs that were accompanied by game performances were called games as well. The games were short poems, which were presented in the form of songs during the ritual ceremonies of different holidays.

The number of participants here is unlimited. To play, you need a hall, which is a conical wood with a sharp iron tip and a rope with a special knot. To rotate the hole, you need to hold the knot on your finger and wrap the other end of the rope around the wooden hole. The player throws his hand sharply forward and the ball begins to spin on the ground. A small hole was dug in the ground beforehand, and an ankle has placed some distance from it. The order of the players' participation was determined by drawing lots. The point of the game was that while the ball was still spinning, you had to take it in your palm and hit it on the ankle. It had to be done so that it could be pushed forward into the hole. The game continued until someone managed to throw the most ankle into the hole. The prize, as a rule, was the opponent's goal.
