A local guide "Ari Gyumri" (Come to Gyumri) will meet you at your chosen location, with a dignified Gyumri dialect and with humor will accompany you to the heart of the city, the territory of the Kumayri Museum-Reserve. Walking around the historic district, you will see the narrow streets with the unique urban architecture preserved in Armenia and the rich environment, our guide tell about how Gyumri, renamed 4 times, went through 4 interesting historical periods, but retained its face. The handmade patterns, doors and sculptures of the city will take you into a world of art and crafts that will be peppered with stories about the lives and works of Gyumri's artisans. On Varpetats Street, you will also have the opportunity to visit the Shiraz, Avetik Isahakyan or Mher Mkrtchyan Museum (your choice). A walk filled with unique stories about the city will be even more enjoyable when our local guides show you the hidden treasures of Gyumri. Moving 100-200 years back in time through the narrow ancient streets, you will be transported to everyday life in Gyumri as you stroll along Ryzhkov Avenue.
Here we will visit everyone's favorite caffee "Honey and Plants" where we will taste delicious dishes made of Shirak products. Then the road will continue to Vardanants Square to show two churches facing each other in the same square. We will walk to the central park, which is one of the oldest places in the city, passing famous movie sets and buildings where important historical events are held. We will enter Armenia's only inclusive caffee - Aregak, where the sweets we buy will warm our souls. We will have a chance to talk to some of Gyumri's famous craftsmen in person, in the oldest barbershop in the city, where time seems to have stopped. And when we move to the Technological Center, our guide will tell you about the current development of the city with the help of modern technology. At the same time, right on the opposite street, you'll hear the history of the Dowry Building. Then you will enter the central park, which will lead you to the old Gyumri Theater where, in 1912, the opera "Anush" was first staged. We will take the stairs back to Vardanants Square, where you will hear about Leninakan, the Amenaprkich Church, and learn how the earthquake affected the lives of local residents. Of course, throughout the tour you will enjoy the directness of the locals, if you are lucky, humorous episodes. Our guides are very sensitive to the preferences of visitors and any story and itinerary will be tailored to your preferences and interests.

There are no age or other restrictions for participating in this tour.
Purchase policy
You can buy the service fully or book it by paying little money (booking voucher). If you purchase a booking voucher, you pay the rest of the cost of the service of your choice on the spot before providing the service.
Please, read carefully about the service information and if necessary, take with you your passport or other identification document (ex. Driving license) and wear appropriate clothes (if it is mentioned on the page of the service).
The purchase or booking should be done at least 48 hours in advance. In case of reservations made after that, complications may arise during the organization of the service, and the amount of the reserved service during that period is not refundable, unless otherwise provided in the cancellation policy. The minimal number of members for this service is 3. You will receive the final confirmation or non-confirmation of the service you purchased by e-mail. Please be careful and arrive at the place of service/office only in case of final confirmation. If you made the purchase more than 10 days before the date of service, the confirmation or non-confirmation letter will be sent to you 72 hours before the day of service.
Attention: The booking voucher is for one-time use of the service you purchased.
In order to use the service, in case of purchasing both full and booking vouchers, it is necessary to submit the purchase receipt electronically or in print (QR code).
Cancellation policy
Cancellation can be made only in case of full purchase. In case of cancellation of the booking voucher the money will not be refunded, but that can be used for another day or for purchasing another service.
Without any penalty full purchase cancellation is available at least 48 hours in advance. After that, the whole value of the service is non-refundable in case of purchase, cancellation, as well as without the consent of the service provider. The date can only be changed at least 24 hours before the first day of the service, with the consent of the partner, according to the availability of those days.
