My name is Vahe Mailyan, I am a carpenter and a 4th generation traveler from Ijevan district. I work in wood carving, semi-precious stones, stone sculpture, since 2003 in Ijevan region, also I am a guide, trained in the program "My Armenia".
I suggest you go with me on a walk to Kirants gorge and at the same time get an opportunity to learn to carve on wood or sculpt on stone during the walk.
During the hike, we will find many stones that are not of cultural value, and I will help the participants to scull. In the end, in addition to presenting historical and cultural monuments to the guest, we will have the opportunity to take part in a masterclass on stone sculpture (e.g., khachkar) and I hope you will want to return or send your friends here to finish or complete your work.

Where are we start from?
The start point of the hike is my studio, which is located in the center of Ijevan.
What will be needed during the hike?
Comfortable shoes, appropriate clothing, sun protection cap, bottled water &, if desired - food.
