This time we will offer you an interesting mountain bike route in Shirak region. You will discover the cozy corners of the communities and the lifestile of the population in these places. The starting point of the route is the center of Small Mantash village (indicated on the route). Lake Mantash is located on the western slope of Mount Aragats, where you will need to drive about 20 km to reach. The road leading to Lake Mantash was built half a century ago with rocks of local volcanic origin. The area is rich in fragrant flowers, variety of plants, indescribable simplicity and beauty of the water, which reflects the landscapes of the mountains and the sky at all hours of the day. Ducks and seagulls swim in the lake, and eagles soar in the sky. The Mantash River flows through the gorge. Sour water springs are especially famous in this area, one of which is mentioned on the route. The lake, as a mountain biking route, is interesting in all the months mentioned below. Upon entering Lake Mantash, you will be required to provide a passport at the entrance to the guardhouse for security reasons. It should be noted that this area is a specially protected area-reserve, so please follow all safety rules.
About Animals
On the slopes of Mount Aragats animals enjoy their winter rest underground under a thick layer of snow. When crossing almost all the ski slopes in Armenia you can more often see the tracks of animals than animals themselves. However, it is not impossible to encounter wolves, foxes, wild rabbits, and dogs in the countryside. Birds wintering in Armenia are also rare.
About security
In the area of Small / Pokr Mantash village, Ucom and Viva Cell-Mts telephone communication is not interrupted. In the area of Lake Mantash in some places there are connections. In case of an accident in Armenia there is a 911 service. Beware of dogs watching out for sheep.

Purchase policy
You can buy the service fully or book it by paying little money (booking voucher). If you purchase a booking voucher, you pay the rest of the cost of the service of your choice on the spot before providing the service.
Please, read carefully about the service information and if necessary, take with you your passport or other identification document (ex. Driving license) and wear appropriate clothes (if it is mentioned on the page of the service).
The purchase or booking should be done at least 48 hours in advance. In case of reservations made after that, complications may arise during the organization of the service, and the amount of the reserved service during that period is not refundable, unless otherwise provided in the cancellation policy. The minimal number of members for this service is 3. You will receive the final confirmation or non-confirmation of the service you purchased by e-mail. Please be careful and arrive at the place of service/office only in case of final confirmation. If you made the purchase more than 10 days before the date of service, the confirmation or non-confirmation letter will be sent to you 72 hours before the day of service.
Attention: The booking voucher is for one-time use of the service you purchased. In order to use the service, in case of purchasing both full and booking vouchers, it is necessary to submit the purchase receipt electronically or in print (QR code).
Cancellation policy
Cancellation can be made only in case of full purchase. In case of cancellation of the booking voucher the money will not be refunded, but that can be used for another day or for purchasing another service.
Without any penalty full purchase cancellation is available at least 48 hours in advance. After that, the whole value of the service is non-refundable in case of purchase, cancellation, as well as without the consent of the service provider. The date can only be changed at least 24 hours before the first day of the service, with the consent of the partner, according to the availability of those days.
