The northern Lori region of Armenia is a real park of gorges, canyons and mountain passes surrounded by valleys. These exceptionally green gorges, shaped by large rivers as well as mountains, are remarkable as examples of ancient civilization. Not only the beauty of nature, but also the impressive architectural monuments delight the visitors. The careful harmony of nature, human creation, seems to be eternal in every corner of the northern forests.

You will discover magnificent view of the Debet Valley, visit architectural unique style special medieval monuments and sanctuaries with the rich history, as well as explore the life of medieval Armenia in its many cave dwellings և culturally centers. Predatory birds, including eagles may be found along the trails and hawks. The hiking day will start from the 6th century Odzun basilica-type church, located in the center of the village of the same name. Leaving the village, you will descend the high plateau, walk along the bypass path until you reach the medieval Horomayr Monastery. The structures and caves of the small monastic complex are scattered along the rock around the gorge. You will continue walking along the road down the cliffs in the direction of a point that promises the best panoramic view, from where the place is a bit rocky. The end of this walking tour will be impressive with a visit to the 12th century Kobayr Monastery, located on the left bank of the Debed river.

What clothes to wear and what to have?
It is desirable to wear comfortable sports clothes and boots, have water and some food. To avoid sunburn, we recommend using sunscreen and wearing a hat.
Purchase policy
You can purchase this service in full or book it for a small fee (booking voucher). If you purchase a booking voucher, you pay the rest of the cost of the service of your choice on the spot before providing the service.
The purchase or booking should be done at least 48 hours in advance. In case of reservations made after that, complications may arise during the organization of the service. Please, read carefully about the service information and if necessary, take with you your passport or other identification document (ex. Driving license) and wear appropriate clothes (if it is mentioned on the page of the service).
Attention: The booking voucher is for one-time use of the service you purchased.
In order to use the service, in case of purchasing both full and booking vouchers, it is necessary to submit the purchase receipt electronically or in print (QR code).
Cancellation policy
Cancellation can be made only in case of full purchase. In case of cancellation of the booking voucher the money will not be refunded, but that can be used for another day or for purchasing another service.
Without any penalty full purchase cancellation is available at least 24 hours in advance. After that, the whole value of the service is non-refundable in case of purchase, cancellation, as well as without the consent of the service provider. The date can only be changed at least 24 hours before the first day of the service, with the consent of the partner, according to the availability of those days.
