The "Mendz er" cave was probably a habitat of the first man, later turned into a hiding place, and not long ago it became a herd of goats. There are many famous and still to be discovered caves in Debed gorge, all with their own stories. There is a well-known story. It is said that the tunnel reaches Sanahin Monastery.
To say that the view from the cave is magnificent would be an understatement. Fairytale paradise Lori opens to the visitor. Nature with its surrounding mountains, high Lalvar mountain, valleys and trees. From this cave you can see the city of Alaverdi, with its cozy corners and the beautiful stream of the Debed River. The cave is right in the mountain with several people in a row. The monasteries of Haghpat and Sanahin, Akhtala Monastery, the famous Stone Bridge are very close to the cave. It takes a few minutes to reach the Mikoyan Brothers House-Museum in Sanahin village. Not far away is another beautiful place, the Zarni-Parni complex. Museum
There is a museum in the cave, where national crafts, rituals, household items, etc. are presented.
Masters school
Forgotten crafts are taught here, including miniature painting, which was developed in Sanahin in the Middle Ages.
Purchase policy
You can purchase this service in full or book it for a small fee (booking voucher). If you purchase a booking voucher, you pay the rest of the cost of the service of your choice on the spot before providing the service.

Attention: The booking voucher is for one-time use of the service you purchased.

Cancellation policy
Cancellation can be made only in case of full purchase. In case of cancellation of booking voucher the price of the booking voucher will not be refunded but can be used for another day or another service.
