The guest house is located in the center of Dilijan, 5 minutes by walk from the Municipality. Right on the main road of Dilijan a long staircase leads to the house through the park. It is a large house divided into 5 parts, the guest house is in the middle of it. This house is one of the few houses that have survived to this day and has centuries of history. The exact age is not known, by historical episodes it appears that it was built in the late 19th or early 20th century. The house was built by a man named Barekh. He built the house, which is now divided into five parts, by himself, and founded his large family. He and his 10 sons were noted for their hard work and human qualities. In 1915, during the genocide, Bareh sheltered many orphans in his home, who remained there for many years. According to oral arguments, the great Armenian writer Nairi Zaryan, who had been orphaned, found shelter in this house as well.
Years later, in Soviet times, Bareh became famous for his lifestyle, as he already had 10 mature and hardworking boys. Rumors were spread that he had found and hidden gold on the grounds of the house he had built. And so one night Soviet policemen burst into the house and wanted to find out the validity of the information about the gold. Although Barekh did not find any gold, he does not deny the fact, and to the surprise of the Soviet policemen, who was waiting for Barekh to show the gold, he pointed to his 10 sons in order, from the youngest to the oldest, and said that this is my gold that I have found.
For now, only the first floor of the house is rented, as the second floor has not yet been renovated, and no one lives on the second floor. There is one bedroom with a double bed, one spacious living room with a three-seat sofa, one regular sofa, as well as a kitchen, a bathroom and a spacious balcony. Food is not included in the price. Guest can cook in person or order from any restaurant. Pets can stay on the balcony. No noise or loud music is allowed in the guest house after 11 p.m., as there are people with small children living next door.

Purchase policy
You can purchase this service in full or book it for a small fee (booking voucher). If you purchase a booking voucher, you pay the rest of the cost of the service of your choice on the spot before providing the service. Please, read carefully about the service information and if necessary, take with you your passport or other identification document (ex. Driving license) and wear appropriate clothes (if it is mentioned on the page of the service). The purchase or booking should be done at least 48 hours in advance. In case of reservations made after that, complications may arise during the organization of the service, and the amount of the reserved service during that period is not refundable, unless otherwise provided in the cancellation policy. You will receive the final confirmation or non-confirmation of the service you purchased by e-mail. Please be careful and arrive in hotel / guesthouse / hostel / resort only in case of final confirmation. If you made the purchase more than 10 days before the date of service, the confirmation or non-confirmation letter will be sent to you 72 hours before the day of service.
Attention: The booking voucher is for one-time use of the service you purchased.
In order to use the service, in case of purchasing both full and booking vouchers, it is necessary to submit the purchase receipt electronically or in print (QR code).
Cancellation policy
Cancellation can be made only in case of full purchase. In case of cancellation of the booking voucher the money will not be refunded, but that can be used for another day or for purchasing another service. Without any penalty full purchase cancellation is available at least 48 hours in advance. After that, the whole value of the service is non-refundable in case of purchase, cancellation, as well as without the consent of the service provider. The date can only be changed at least 24 hours before the first day of the service, with the consent of the partner, according to the availability of those days.
