The route Odzun-Ardvi passes through fields and gardens, you will meet people engaged in agriculture, see the church of St. Hovhannes in Ardvi, the natural monument "Snake navel", then walk to Surb Nshan, which is located at the edge of the gorge. From there you can see the monastery of Horomayr. Then we will walk to St. Maryam Astvatsatsin Church in Odzun, after which we will return to the guest house.
Kobayr monastery was founded in 1171 by Mariam, the daughter of King Kyurikyan of the Bagratuni dynasty. Kobayr Monastery is one of the outstanding monuments of developed medieval Armenian architecture, whose history is closely connected with the activities of famous medieval Armenian feudal houses, the Kyurikyan branch of the Bagratuni dynasty and members of the Zakaryan dynasty. According to bibliographic references, the expansion of the Kobayr monastic complex began at the end of the 12th and beginning of the 13th centuries, when the monastery passed from the Kyurikians to the Zakarians. At the same time the main temple, the chapel-keeper, the open hall adjoining it from the west, the refectory, the bell tower - burial vault, chapels and fortifications were built. All of them are in a dilapidated state today.
Horomayr According to Horomayr inscriptions, the upper and lower buildings were built in the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. The first mention of Horomayr dates back to the seventh century. The only one on the front stone of the northern entrance is a tall sculpture of the Virgin Mary, the baby Jesus. Around the complex is the monastery cemetery with cross-stones and tombstones from the 13th century. The monastery consists of a small church-belfry next to each other, a separate chapel, cross-stones and figures carved in the rocks.
Kobayr and Horomair is located in the gorge, the Debed River flows from here, and the route runs along the edge of the gorge through the gardens. The Church of St. Astvatsatsin in Odzun is located in the center of the village of Odzun, has a large courtyard and a medieval cemetery.
If necessary, we will organize a picnic outdoors, tell stories typical of the locals.

Purchase policy
You can buy the service fully or book it by paying little money (booking voucher). If you purchase a booking voucher, you pay the rest of the cost of the service of your choice on the spot before providing the service.
Please, read carefully about the service information and if necessary, take with you your passport or other identification document (ex. Driving license) and wear appropriate clothes (if it is mentioned on the page of the service).
The purchase or booking should be done at least 24 hours in advance. In case of reservations made after that, complications may arise during the organization of the service, and the amount of the reserved service during that period is not refundable, unless otherwise provided in the cancellation policy. The minimal number of members for this service is 2. You will receive the final confirmation or non-confirmation of the service you purchased by e-mail. Please be careful and arrive at the place of service/office only in case of final confirmation. If you made the purchase more than 10 days before the date of service, the confirmation or non-confirmation letter will be sent to you 72 hours before the day of service.
Attention: The booking voucher is for one-time use of the service you purchased.
In order to use the service, in case of purchasing both full and booking vouchers, it is necessary to submit the purchase receipt electronically or in print (QR code).
Cancellation policy
Cancellation can be made only in case of full purchase. In case of cancellation of the booking voucher the money will not be refunded, but that can be used for another day or for purchasing another service.
Without any penalty full purchase cancellation is available at least 24 hours in advance. After that, the whole value of the service is non-refundable in case of purchase, cancellation, as well as without the consent of the service provider. The date can only be changed at least 24 hours before the first day of the service, with the consent of the partner, according to the availability of those days.
